Local activist group Expect Us on Friday held a protest, beginning at the Streets of St. Charles shopping mall, that attracted about 150 people. The protest was called "Good Trouble" to honor civil rights icon and longtime congressman John Lewis, who died July 17. Lewis coined the phrase. Protesters marched onto Interstate 70 W, blocking traffic, and were eventually walked back by police in riot gear. The night ended with several arrests in the parking lot of AMC Streets of St. Charles 8.
