• May 26: A police officer fatally shot Jamie Robinson, 33, a white man, at his home in the 4800 block of Hamburg Avenue after police say he called 911 and threatened to harm police and commit suicide.

SWAT officers contacted Robinson and tried to get him to give himself up, but he continued to threaten to harm himself and fired at officers, police said. An officer fired one round back, striking and killing Robinson.

Police said Robinson was armed with a high-powered SKS 7.62-caliber rifle. Police found at least 11 spent casings and 180 rounds of ammunition in the home.
