Letter: Old, white men running Missouri explains backwardness

Regarding “‘Perfect ending to a dysfunctional year’: Missouri Legislature wraps up session with flurry of controversial bills” (May 15): I couldn’t help but notice the large front-page photo accompanying this article. The traditional Legislature’s end of session paper toss, was of mostly old, white men. No wonder Missouri is so backward.
