Regarding two April 8 stories, "Missouri’s personal property tax back in legislative crosshairs" and "Proposal to shrink Missouri House approved by committee": I believe these proposals should require a vote by the residents of Missouri. But why should we waste the expense of holding an election when lawmakers don’t follow any referendum passed by the voters anyway?
