Just finished re-reading the Post-Dispatch's May 5 article titled "Normandy High: The most dangerous school in the area." The editorial ("Pivot point," July 14) on the transfer of Normandy School District students to Francis Howell schools, as well as its companion editorial from last week, failed to mention the May 5 article at all, thus failing to acknowledge the Post-Dispatch's complicity in the negative reaction of the many Francis Howell parents at Thursday night's meeting at Francis Howell Central High School.
Your righteous indignation in Sunday's editorial is stunningly hollow and self-serving. There are a whole bunch of other things I could say, but to do so would be like telling a person suffering from advanced leprosy about the benefits of sunblock.
