After reading Dana Milbank’s article “Let’s Sue The President” (June 27), I have come to the conclusion that it should be the American people suing the Republicans and Congress for nonperformance of their duties, and not the Republican controlled Congress suing the President for usurping the power of Congress. I disagree with Rep. John Bohener’s statement. The Republicans have been trying to usurp the power of the Presidency away from President Barack Obama, and at the same time are being so obstructionist with legislation with the White House, that they have left this country lurch into an aimless state where nothing gets done.

The Republicans have no new ideas on how to fix the problems of the country, but they are determined not to work with President and his legislation for the country. The position of the Republicans concerning President Obama and his legislation reminds me of what Groucho Marx said in his movie “Horse Feathers”: “No matter what it is or who commenced it, I’m against it”
