Denny’s in Waterloo donating 100% of proceeds on September 11th to the family of Illinois State Trooper Nicholas Hopkins


Denny’s will also accept additional donations for Trooper Hopkins’ family during this time


WATERLOO, IL (September 5, 2019)- Illinois State Trooper Nicholas Hopkins was fatally shot on August 23rd while serving a search warrant in East St. Louis. He is survived by his wife, 4 year old twins, and a baby girl. Denny’s restaurant located at 959 Illinois Rt 3 Waterloo, IL 62298 will be donating 100% of proceeds from all purchases made on September 11th from 6am-9pm to the family of Trooper Nicholas Hopkins. Customers are encouraged to make additional donations to the family if they are able to. Donations will be accepted by cash, credit card, or check. 100% of all additional donations will also go directly to Trooper Hopkins’ family. Please join us, bring your family, and support our community members in need.
