First Community Ranked Number 1 in Missouri by Forbes

Chesterfield, MO (July 27, 2020) – St. Louis based First Community, was recently ranked as the number one credit union in Missouri by Forbes. This is publication’s third annual “America’s Best Credit Unions” list.

Forbes polled nearly 25,000 customers in the U.S. on their current and former banking relationships. From there, they scored financial institutions on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as five sub-dimensions (trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice). There are 5,236 credit unions nationwide and only 3.5% of those made their list. First Community is humbled to be considered on their list.

“With so many choices for financial institutions these days, we’re thankful to be the top choice for so many in our region. We’ve been around for over 85 years now and believe we provide the highest quality service and offer top products to our members” said President and CEO, Glenn D. Barks.

The past year has proven to be a successful one for First Community as they were also selected for St. Louis Magazine’s A List Awards for “Top Mortgage Provider” as well as one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s “Top 10 Largest Mortgage Lenders” in the region.
