META Acquires EHS
Lawrence, KS: Mayhew Environmental Training Associates (META) has acquired EHS Resource Group. The acquisition was made in April. This is the second company META has acquired this year, with the first being the asbestos training business of Impact7G in January.
“We’re so excited to partner with EHS to expand our training footprint in the HAZMAT training world! We are confident that this partnership will help us provide a wider base of knowledge for our hazmat training and improve our curriculum for our hazmat clients,” says Rebecca Mayhew, Operations Manager at META.
“We have clients we have worked for the entire 23 years we've existed and we have built many strong relationships as well as friendships. You feel very protective of those relationships when someone else picks up the mantle and runs the business,” says Matt Wilson, owner at EHS. “Everyone from META I have had the privilege to meet and work with has been highly professional and a pleasure to get to know. It gives me a significant amount of comfort knowing these are the people that will handle the relationships we built going forward.”
