Promoting Small Owned Business is The Driving Force Behind "Horus Marketing LLC"

Morgan Johnson, owner of Horus Marketing LLC

The startup "Horus Marketing LLC" is a digital marketing company that aims to help small and minority owned businesses fulfill their potential at an affordable rate.

Morgan Johnson, a Missouri native saw an issue with current marketing companies. "They were always so vague about what they could do for you and the majority of the time they failed to touch base with you. The few that did would charge an arm and a leg for their services. Some companies can’t possibly shovel out that amount of money for advertising. It’s just unrealistic. Small businesses and startups are at such a disadvantage in the marketplace. I totally relate to it being an independent filmmaker. To promote my films, I had to find creative ways to get my work out there without paying thousands of dollars and that’s primarily the reason I was motivated to learn the art of public relations. Public relations is like advertising but it’s not paid for. But being free also means you have to really, really think outside the box because journalists are getting contacted by tons of people every day. I want to do everything in my power to give these small businesses a chance to succeed in their individual markets. Instead of a consultation-based approach, Horus will have an option for set prices and packages on their list of services that small business owners could afford and take advantage of. "C.E.O. Interactives", a Las Vegas based advertising company, has the same mindset which led to a partnership between these two.

Before the startup "Horus Marketing", Johnson worked in public relations in Los Angeles and had done filmmaking as a hobby for several years. He produced two documentaries: 250 Miles Up (2017) and The Ultimate Lottery Ticket (2019) while also placing a number of short films in a variety of film festivals. Throughout his work as a filmmaker, he acquired a lot of skills directly related to digital marketing. Being a minority owned business, Horus Marketing is making it to where a percentage of sales go to ethnic youth charities in hopes of inspiring entrepreneurship in the future. On October 1st, Horus Marketing will launch and be able to be viewed at
