New management brings event back to its roots while taking it to new heights
St. Louis, MO— Under new management and in collaboration with Downtown STL Inc. and the City of St. Louis, Taste It Productions, LLC announces the return of Taste of St. Louis to Soldiers’ Memorial Military Museum in downtown St. Louis on September 13-15, 2019.
This marks the 15th year for the free, public event which is one the region’s premier food and beverage festivals. This year aims to build community through a refreshed location, presence, and offerings with an emphasis on local community partners, local healthy food producers, fitness, and nutrition-focused education.
The theme of this year’s Taste of St. Louis is “Educate, Elevate, Celebrate”. Producers and vendors will educate the region about healthy eating habits, recipes, and achieving well-being through food while highlighting the culinary wonders that exist in St. Louis. The event will be elevated with new attractions making it a must-attend for individuals, couples, and families. And it will be a celebration of community bringing together the region’s new restauranteurs, new products, new companies, new musical artists, and soon to be new friends.

In addition to featuring the region’s best eateries and hand-crafted beverages on Restaurant Row, the always-anticipated Chef Battle Royale will take place during which the area’s culinary geniuses compete. Live music performed by local artists will elevate the vibe throughout the weekend. Healthy food producers, fitness, and nutrition focused education will take the spotlight this year in the Healthy@Home area specifically designed for families. Here, families can learn about healthier alternatives and test their wall-climbing and ninja course skills. Attendees will also have a chance to win dinner for two in the People’s Choice Contest.
The Taste of St. Louis has always supported a multitude of different charities and this year is in partnership with the Missouri Coalition for the Environment, Lift for Life Gym, The St. Louis Area Food Bank, and Big Brother Big Sisters. Over the past 14 years, the event has helped raise more than $495,000 in charitable donations to benefit regional organizations such as Food Outreach, St. Patrick Center, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the St. Louis Blues Society, Benton Park Neighborhood Association, the Knights of Columbus, and more. The Taste of St. Louis has been nominated countless times as the best food event by St. Louis Magazine and won the top honor in 2019.
