Ariel Concert Series would like to invite all St. Louisans to join us in celebrating the holidays in this low-risk way: enjoy the music with the family, or share the link with your loved ones who can't get together with you, so we can all stay safe and stay connected. Besides the performance brought by professional orchestra musicians, a virologist Dr. Larrisa Thackray and a radiologist Dr. Mike Lin are invited to share their insights about the COVID-19 in the view of their expertise. Livestream starts at 7 p.m. on November 26 and will stay available for 7 days afterwards on https://www.arielconcertseries.com.
We hope the music will not only bring joys but also heal the souls that suffer during this pandemic. For those who had a good year, please settle in and enjoy it; for those who had a tough year, let our music hear you and heal you.
Ariel Concert Series is founded to serve the St. Louis community by taking care of mental health with the healing power of classical music, especially during this time of our COVID pandemic. It is our belief that classical music shouldn't be a luxury but something accessible. We invite local musicians from the area, including SLSO musicians, to participate. Additionally, we invite scientists and clinical physicians currently working on COVID-19 to give short speeches on how we can all do our parts in the time of this pandemic.
Ariel Concert Series has held 14 successful and well-attended outdoor concerts from July to September and has reached our community in different neighborhoods including Central West End, Clayton, Olivette, Ballwin, Richmond Heights, Bridgeton, and Lake St. Louis. It also participated in BJC's appreciation week to thank our heroes.
