Brainchild Events and Saint Louis Fashion Fund: Fashion Anarchy - The Final Challenge

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit educational programs at The Saint Louis Fashion Fund 

(November 1, St. Louis, Mo.) - On November 9, 2019 St. Louis events agency Brainchild Events and Saint Louis Fashion Fund present the final “Fashion Anarchy”, which is a 48-hour design competition. 

Participants were  given 48-hours to create one look telling the story of the Washington Avenue Garment District Past, Present and Future. Three designers worked  in the Saint Louis Fashion Fund creative space with donated materials for 48-hours. Audience members witnessed the final touches of the event to include hair and makeup and fitting a live model before the clock runs out and judging began. 

Fashion Anarchy kicked off its first event on May 9th. The event  had over 150 attendees enjoying cocktails, touring Stevens - The Institute of Business and Arts, eating appetizers from The Last Hotel and mingling with the who’s who of the fashion industry. Fashion Anarchy Judges crowned Barbara Bultman (/ the winner of The Garment District Past,  Amanda Casarez (  as the winner of The Garment District Present Day and Courtney Tharpe ( as winner of The Garment District Future. 

The Final Challenge: The winner from each preliminary challenge will go head-to-head in the final challenge. Designers will create  inside the lobby of the hotel with the assistance from Saint Louis Fashion Fund Youth Designer Competition Winners: Megan Blanchard, Taylor Jones, and Madison Marks,  (all ages 14-18) 

Audiences will have a chance to see the designers create in person, via live social media or by looking through the window of the hotel. 

The event runs from 5:30PM to 11:00PM at The Last Hotel. Event includes a  A VIP reception and a VIP afterparty. Event and ticket information can be found here:
