First Assembly Church Hosting a Community Easter Event Benefitting Mental Health

St. Peters, MO, March 30, 2021 — First Assembly Church in St. Peters, MO, is inviting families in the St. Louis Metro area to visit 370 Lakeside Park in St. Peters on Saturday April 3 at 10:00 am for their Community Egg Drop event. A helicopter will fly over the park to drop 10,000 Easter eggs for kids of all ages to gather. There will also be a petting zoo, food trucks, face-painting stations, and inflatables for the entire family to enjoy.

This event is part of First Assembly Church's Easter weekend. The Egg Drop will follow a 5K and Mile Walk event, in which proceeds are being donated to organizations that help support mental health, including Centerpointe Hospital, Bridgeway Behavioral Health, and Agape Christian Counseling Center.

First Assembly Church's Easter weekend will continue on Sunday morning with three in-person worship experiences for families to attend. There will be a traditional Sunrise Service at 6:30a, followed by two contemporary Easter services at 9 am and 10:30 am. Families are invited to attend any of the services. Children will have the opportunity to attend Easter services with other kids their age in Early Childhood and First Kids ministries at 9 am and 10:30am.
