Studio Gaia, downtown Edwardsville, is honored to once again host internationally known author and yoga philosopher Max Strom in June 2019. Strom has appeared in multiple TEDx Talks, and his books A Life Worth Breathing and There is No App for Happiness are best sellers.

Strom is offering two days of workshops to help participants develop simple, sustainable practices:

Saturday June 29; 10:00-12:30 Releasing and Healing our Emotional Body Through Postures and Breathwork (Movement Based). This workshop will provide tools to help relieve stress, depression, PTSD, and anxiety. Includes lecture, please bring writing materials.

2:00 - 4:00 Strength, Grace and Healing (Movement Based). Yoga increases strength and flexibility and also promotes health and vitality. This workshop includes Strom’s unique yoga practice called Inner Axis. Details at

Sunday June 30, 10:00 to 12:00 The Yoga of Non-Violent Relationships (Lecture and Writing). This seminar will give you knowledge to help you live a more vital and peaceful life. Profound and funny!

2:00 - 4:00 Opening the Body and Finding Your Emotions (Movement Based). This workshop brings the mind into stillness and the body into a new state of energy. Induces an emotional sense of release.

Participants will need yoga mats, water bottles and writing materials. All workshops are open to all levels.
