Starting June 15, view over 50 works by Post-Dispatch Chief Photographer, J.B. (James) Forbes and former Post-Dispatch news artists, and current illustrator, teacher, Bob Shay at the Galleries at Heartland Art Club.
Since 1975, J.B. Forbes has been at the Post-Dispatch, first as a photojournalist, then Director of Photography and now Chief Photographer. He specialized in sports photography and has traveled to 27 countries covering wars, earthquakes, medical missions and current events.

Bob Shay was a news artist at the Post-Dispatch for nine years. Those years and it's recognition allowed Bob to pursue many outside opportunities and build a successful freelance business. He purchased and renovated an historic building in Benton Park West and bid farewell to the Post-Dispatch. Bob credits working at the Post for numerous things, primarily... learning the ability to work quickly! Everything was a deadline right now!
