Odd Couples Housing has redesigned a new website

Hello there,

Hope all is well.

My name is Annie Mbale and I am the Odd Couples Housing Marketing Communications Director.

Odd Couples Housing marks the start of its second year as a company that connects healthy, active older adults with an extra bedroom, to college students and younger adults looking for an affordable housing alternative.

As the company grows, we decided to re-design our website and have developed a mobile app which launched on January 9th, 2020. I am emailing because I am trying to get media coverage with the press release I wrote (attached). Do you mind helping us by publishing the press release or would you please to do a write-up?

Thank you for your consideration in advance and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns or if you need anything else (media kit, images you would like to use, etc.).

I am also willing to talk more about this either in person, on the phone or via email.

On behalf of Odd Couples Housing

Thank you in advance.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Odd Couples Housing Announces Launch of Redesigned Product

New developments enhance user experience for aging homeowners, young adults

ST. LOUIS, January 13th, 2020 – Kicking off its second year, Odd Couples Housing, Inc., the company responsible for bridging the gap between aging homeowners and young adult home seekers, invites visitors to explore its newly designed website and roommate matching online experience (https://www.oddcoupleshousing.com). The updated online experience was developed in collaboration with new partner, Sigla, a St. Louis based technology and venture building firm.

Both digital properties were redesigned with users at the forefront, those looking to participate in the Odd Couples experience, and outsiders looking to gain insight into what the company does.

“Our goal with this launch is not just to improve the experience for our participants but also to provide a better understanding for our visitors that want to know who we are and how we work,” said Steve Lilly, CEO of Odd Couples Housing. “We want everyone to understand the importance of bringing generations together to create a sustainable future, whether they’re participating in our program or not.”

Highlights of the new design include an improved website with detailed explanations of the matching process, an updated sign up and personality matching survey that was informed by Odd Couples Housing existing matches and expert staff, plus a news and information blog that contains relevant information on aging and intergenerational living.

“We want everyone to keep up to date on the latest Odd Couples happenings,” said Lilly. “We’re excited to be providing an experience that is more informative and we hope everyone enjoys the new look!”
