LA-Z-BOY DONATES FURNITURE TO PROVIDE COMFORT TO FAMILIES OF SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN

(St. Louis) — For some families, going home after a long day isn’t an option. Thanks to La-Z-Boy, guest families at Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of St. Louis can relax in a new chair or sofa after being with their children at a local pediatric hospital.

In December, RMHC St. Louis received a donation of four Kennedy chairs with ottomans, four Avenue chairs, three Nolita chairs and one Kennedy sofa, which will make for the perfect place to enjoy a quick nap or for a moment of solitude.

La-Z-Boy has been comforting guest families as the "Official Furniture Provider" for RMHC since 2008. La-Z-Boy provides complimentary furniture to Ronald McDonald Houses and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms throughout the U.S., Canada, Asia and Africa. La-Z-Boy also supports RMHC though a variety of local and national fundraising events and promotions, where all monetary donations are collected and distributed to local Chapters.

“We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with La-Z-Boy over the past decade,” says Dan Harbaugh, RMHC St. Louis President. “Guest families can find a home-away-from-home at RMHC thanks to the comforts provided by La-Z-Boy.”
