Liberty HS Relay Champions

The Wentzville School District is proud to announce that six students won first place medals at the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Track and Field Championships held Saturday, May 25. Liberty High School senior Nolan Bone won first place in the Class 4 State Championship held at Washington High School in the Pole Vault, with a personal record of 15’9”. Holt High School freshman Allen Bublitz won first place in the Class 5 State Championship held at Battle High School in the Para Shot Put with a throw of 6’; and Liberty freshmen Allison Kruger, Adrienne Rockette, Karlie Wooten, and Megan Venturella won first place in Class 4 in the 4x800 Meter Relay with a time of 9:32.60, earning the first state championship in Track & Field for Liberty High School, which opened in 2013. Nolan won his event later in the day and he made history as the first male state Track & Field champion for his school.


The WSD also had the following students receive All-State recognition for their top 10 finishes in their respective events:


Holt High School, Class 5

Freshman Allen Bublitz – second place in 200 M (Para) and second place in 100 M (Para)

Junior Gracyn Pietrusinski – fourth place in 3200 M


Liberty High School, Class 4

Senior Bruce Jordan – fifth place in 300 Hurdles and seventh place in 110 Hurdles

Freshman Karlie Wooten – eighth place in the 400 M

Freshman Ally Kruger – second place in 3200 M and fifth place in 1600 M


Timberland High School, Class 5

Bryce Eaton - fourth place in Discus

Bailey Broemmer - fifth place in Javelin with a throw of 125’9” (new school record)
