SIGA 16-18

On August 4th, Olivia Quigley (16) of Marissa, Illinois captured the Southern Illinois Golf Association 16-18 Player of the Year title at Franklin County Country Club in West Frankfort. This coming one day after winning the 27 Hole Koenemen  Classic at Hickory Ridge in Carbondale with a 136. The top ten finishes in the 18 hole tournaments were used for each player to determine Player of the Year, including the SIGA Championship, and the Players Cup.  During the tour season Olivia also won the Benton Jr. Gold Cup with an 82 and the Fairfield Jr. Classic with an 80. Throughout the summer, Olivia was also able to shoot an 81 3rd  place finish at Gateway National Golf Links as a part of the Jr. PGA Tour. Olivia will be entering her junior year at Marissa High School.
