Shortly after he and his teammates finished their first game of the Lindbergh High basketball tournament on Thursday, Dorial Green-Beckham turned his attention back to football.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound wide receiver from Springfield (Mo.) Hillcrest dubbed by many as the nation's top 2012 college football recruit will miss the conclusion of this weekend's tournament to take an official visit to the University of Arkansas.

Green-Beckham's adopted father and Hillcrest football coach John Beckham confirmed the plan by text message early Thursday evening.

"He (Green-Beckham) is playing tonight (Thursday), then going to Arkansas," Beckham wrote.

The campus visit to Fayetteville, referred to by Beckham as "tentatively scheduled" until late this week, is one of the final trips Green-Beckham will be able to make before announcing his college choice on National Signing Day (Feb. 1).

Earlier in the week, reports surfaced that Green-Beckham had eliminated Alabama from the five potential teams still jostling for his commitment -- the other four are Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.

Yet, according to John Beckham, the recently crowned national champion is still in the running.

"His final five has not changed," said Beckham through text message.

The final five are making their final push. Missouri coach Gary Pinkel flew to Springfield via helicopter on Wednesday to visit Green-Beckham at the Hillcrest campus, and the receiver could take his official visit to Columbia on Jan. 27.
