St. Louis University will face five teams that played in the 2018 NCAA Tournament during the nonconference portion of its basketball schedule.

The Billikens will play NCAA qualifiers Butler at Chaifetz Arena on Dec. 1 and North Carolina Central on Dec. 19. They play at Seton Hall on Nov. 17, at Houston on Dec. 16 and against Florida State in Sunrise, Fla., on Dec. 22.

In other nonconference home games, SLU opens the season against Southeast Missouri State (Nov. 6), faces Troy (Nov. 10), North Alabama (Nov. 13), Central Arkansas (Nov. 24), Oregon State (Dec. 9) and Appalachian State (Dec. 30).

The Billikens play Pittsburgh at Barclays Center in Brooklyn (Nov. 21) and at Southern Illinois Carbondale (Dec. 5).

SLU will have exhibition games against Quincy (Oct. 27) and Missouri St. Louis (Nov. 1). Before starting practice in October, the team will hold Billiken Madness on Sept. 28 for fans with contests and a short scrimmage.
