The local chapter of the National Football Foundation has scheduled its annual awards banquet for May 1 at Orlando Gardens in South County.
The chapter has selected eleven high school scholar-athletes, three inspirational competitors and a college scholar to receive the awards.
Washington University cornerback Brandon Brown will receive the University Scholar-Athlete award for being named first-team All-American by D3football.com.
The local chapter is requesting help to sponsor tables for the athletes.

Venue: Orlando Gardens, 4300 Hoffmeister Ave., St. Louis, 63125
Cost: $55 per person, or a table of 10 for $525.
Schedule: pre-event mixer (cash bar) beginning at 4:45 p.m.; Dinner at 5:45.
