St. Pius X topped visiting Jefferson 29-16 Friday.
Rushing played a major role in victory for St. Pius X. Leading rushers were Carson Fischer with two rushing touchdowns and Nate Ruble with a rushing touchdown.
Other players with numbers for St. Pius X included Riley Naeger with a receiving touchdown and Michael Vonder Haar with a safety. Adding offensive numbers for Jefferson were Colby Ott with a rushing touchdown and Will Schnitzler with a receiving touchdown.
St. Pius X (8-2) travels to Caruthersville on Friday, November 8 at 7 p.m.
