Warrenton trailed by seven after the first half but rallied for a 31-22 victory over visiting Fort Zumwalt East Friday.

Rushing played a major role in victory for Warrenton. Contributing to their ground game were Caelon Weir with two rushing touchdowns, Logan Dowd and Owen Ireton each with a rushing touchdown.

Brendan Day also contributed for Warrenton with a field goal. Contributing points for Fort Zumwalt East were Tyler Lindemann, Nick Stepney each with a rushing touchdown, Joshua Johnston with a returning touchdown and John Hopkins with a field goal.

Warrenton (4-5) will host Kirksville on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m. Fort Zumwalt East (1-8) will be away at Hannibal on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m.
