Key'vion Hampton scored on a 55-yard touchdown pass from Darius Cooper early in the game as Hazelwood West knocked off Riverview Gardens 47-14 at home on Saturday.

Cooper was nearly perfect through the air for Hazelwood West (4-2), going 12-for-15 for 224 yards and four scores. 

Two of those touchdown passes were to Hampton, who finished with 120 yards on four receptions. 

Cooper added 26 yards on the ground on nine carries and a score while Charles Davis led the way with 100 yards rushing. 

The Hazelwood West defense got in on the scoring, notching a safety midway through the second quarter.

Riverview Garden (0-6) senior Cornell McIntosh scored on a 50-yard kickoff return just before the halftime buzzer and also scored from 40 yards out on a fumble recovery. 

Hazelwood East 44, McCluer North 15 • Hazelwood East rolled up over 300 yards of offense as the Spartans knocked off McCluer North 44-15 at home.

Torre Dyson went 6-for-14 for 201 yards through the air and connected with Jar'vion Hardimon for two long scores.

The first was a 30-yard touchdown strike late in the first quarter, followed by a 70-yard touchdown pass at the start of the fourth quarter. Hardimon finished with four receptions for 163 yards.

Maurice Chavers led Hazelwood East (4-2) on the ground with 101 yards on 13 carries. 

Senior Jonathan Jefferson found De'Von Williams for a 28-yard touchdown pass midway through the second quarter to put McCluer North (3-3) on the board. 

Jefferson picked up his second touchdown pass of the day with a 17-yard pass to Angelo Butts early in the third quarter.

Brentwood 25, Principia 14 • A 12-point first quarter by Brentwood was plenty asthe Eagles picked up a 25-14 road win over Principia.

Principia rushed the ball 41 times for 125 yards with Howard James leading the way with 75 yards on 18 carries.

Five Principia runners touched the ball.

Two quarterbacks combined to go 0-for-5 with an interception in the loss for Principia (2-2)

Miller Career 42, Carnahan 0 • Byron Terrell ran for four touchdowns as Miller Career blanked Carnahan on the road.

Terrell scored on runs of 58, 1, 2 and 6 yards. Miller Career's Dajaun Fields found Chaz Lovett from 10 yards out late in the third quarter and Titus Baker sprinted in from 69 yards midway through the third quarter. 

Miller Career (4-2) picked up a safety midway through the first quarter.

Carnahan's Bryant Bailey went 7-for-12 for 106 yards. Carnahan (0-6) was limited to 13 yards on 12 carries.
