Collinsville handily defeated Granite City 51-29 Thursday at Granite City.

Free throw shooting was key to the Kahoks win. Collinsville connected on 15 of 28 attempts, while the Warriors made just seven of 14. Talesha Gilmore led Collinsville with 15 points, while Megan Janson finished with 15 and Jenna Scheller added 12. Kaylyn Wylie was the leading scorer for Granite City with 9 points. The leading rebounder for Granite City was Emily Sykes (11)

Collinsville (2-1) goes on the road to play Benton, Illinois on Monday at 6 p.m. Granite City (0-2) visits Belleville East on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
