About the Blackhawks: The Blackhawks, at 10-11-5 for 25 points, are coming off a 7-3 loss Saturday in Colorado and are last in the Central Division. After a four-game winning streak in mid-November, the Blackhawks briefly were above .500 (9-7-4) but won only one of their next six games (1-4-1). The loss Saturday came in the second game of a long-distance back-to-back; Friday in Chicago the Blackhawks lost 5-2 to the Avalanche.
Robin Lehner and Corey Crawford have split netminding chores, with similar results. Lehner, a former New York Islander, is 5-5-3 with a 2.69 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage. Crawford is 5-6-2 with a 2.97 GAA and .912 save percentage. Lehner was pulled Saturday after allowing five goals on 14 shots.
Patrick Kane has a 14 goals and a 15-game point streak. But Alex DeBrincat and Jonathan Toews, who had 76 goals between them last season, have combined for only nine this season.
