Morgan Mizell, a recent John Burroughs School graduate, has accepted two positions as a research assistant in two research labs at the University of Pennsylvania. Those positions usually are reserved for graduate students.

Mizell will work in the neurology and radiology section of the Department of Psychiatry, where she will be involved in research on schizophrenia and epilepsy.

She will attend Swathmore College in suburban Philadelphia, where she will major in neuroscience and engineering. Eventually, Mizell hopes to attend Washington University Medical School or Johns Hopkins Medical School.
