The White Sox of the Imperial Youth Association hit their way to a Bantam 2 A.S.L. Championship. The White Sox finished 12-6-1 in their first year and also took second in the Northwest Tournament. The impressive summer earns the Sox this week's salute as the Journal Team of the Week. The White Sox team includes: front row, from left - Alex Neisler, Aaron Buchek, Tony Weber, Randy Myles, Dean Cochran; second row - Ryan Sunkel, Alex Anderson, Austin Carter, Jay Blake, D.J. Schultheis, Alex Carter; third row - coaches Steve Sunkel, Boyd Buchek, Dan Schultheis and head coach Greg Carter. The Team of the Week feature is a cooperative effort between the Suburban Journals and the St. Louis Cardinals.
