Francis Howell High School recently debuted its new gymnasium to the community.
The 47,000-square-foot, $10 million facility was completed in October and can hold 2,000 seats and fit eight courts.
The gymnasium includes two upper-level mezzanines for student activities, a walking track, two additional sets of bleachers and a batting cage. The facility's ground level has an office for the athletic director, conference room, boys and girls locker rooms, officials lockers and a training room with 20 new weight machines and equipment for workouts.
The small gymnasium was remodeled to allow for separate practice areas and 1,500 seats, and a new concession stand was added in the common area.
