Ryan Robertson, a former St. Charles West High School basketball standout, is now president of the St. Charles Community College Board of Trustees.
The board on April 16 elected officers for 2012-14. Robert Proost was elected vice president, William T. Lohmar Jr. treasurer and Rose Mack secretary.
Robertson, who also played basketball for the University of Kansas and the NBA's Sacramento Kings, is a regional director for Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He was appointed to the SCC board in 2008 and elected to a six-year term in 2010.
William R. Pundmann, who was re-elected April 3 to a six-year term on the board, had served as president since 2010 and Robertson was vice president. Pundmann is president and chief executive officer of the Pundmann and Co. investment firm.
Lohmar and Jean Ehlmann also won re-election to the board on April 3. Lohmar is a senior judge for Missouri and the St. Charles municipal judge, while Ehlmann is a history and government teacher at St. Charles High School. Proost owns Blue Ribbon Real Estate Co. Mack is a Ward 2 councilwoman in O'Fallon.
