In Asia, spiritual practices like Falun Dafa are often referred to as ways of “cultivation” or “self cultivation.” At the core of Falun Gong are the values of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance. Practitioners of Falun Gong take these principles as the guiding factor for daily life and practice. Through consistent and dedicated practice, people who practice Falun Gong achieve a state of selflessness, greater insight and awareness, inner purity, and balance.
Though Falun Gong began in China, in the 20 years since its introduction to the public it has grown to be a worldwide phenomenon. Today Falun Gong is practiced by people from various ethnic backgrounds, professions and all ages in more than 80 countries. To learn more about Falun Dafa, visit www.falundafa.org.
