Who and where • Clockwise from left: Martha Kratzer, Eric Nienkamp and Adrienne Nienkamp, all of St. Louis, Lynn Anderson of Chicago, Anne and Dave Morgan of St. Louis, Jim and Pat Cook of St. Louis, and John Loeding of Lapeer, Michigan, at the Orizontes Lycabettus Restaurant on top of Lycabettus Hill overlooking the Acropolis in Athens in August 2019.

The trip • The group started their trip with three days in Athens, then joined the Star Clippers tall sailing ship Star Flyer for an 11-day voyage through the Greek Islands. The Cooks celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during the voyage.

Travel tip • Email the restaurant at least two months ahead for a reservation as it is very popular with locals. Ask for a 7 p.m. reservation and a cliff-side table. Sunset view and lights over Athens are spectacular. Food is wonderful and surprisingly not too expensive.

Contribute • Email your photo to stlpost@gmail.com. Include the full names of everyone in the photo, including where they are from and where you are standing in the photo. Also include your address and phone number. Please also tell us a little about the trip and a travel tip. We’re looking for interesting, well-composed, well-lighted photos.
