For a classic taste of Italy in St. Louis, Favazza’s Restaurant romances brides and grooms and their guests at its elegant restaurant and full-service Rose of the Hill banquet facility, each located at the gateway to this historic section of the city. After the proposal, make wedding plans at an intimate table on the restaurant’s garden patio. Greet wedding party and out-of-towners after the wedding rehearsal on that same patio or in one of five private rooms. From near or far, guests will delight in the family food and personal service fine-tuned by decades of experience.

Rose of the Hill

On the big day, the single-event facility, named “Rose” for the favorite flower of the Favazza family’s mother, becomes the backdrop for as many as 350 people. Often called “popular gourmet,” fabulous food like Sicilian Chicken, Steak Mudega and Italian Roast Beef is served sit-down family style or buffet. Specialty pasta dishes and fresh vegetables appeal to all tastes.

Rose of the Hill


A 35-foot dark wood bar separate from the dining and dancing area offers hospitality. Staff expects to provide real china, linens, glasses and silverware, as well as decorate and check coats. After the bride and groom ceremonially cut the cake, it is sliced and served. The head table enjoys a champagne toast. A private lot provides free parking and convenient access.
