Denali in Alaska
I took a cruise with a land excursion in Alaska. This photo was taken of Denali on the Alaskan train. Only 15 to 20% of visitors get to see the whole mountain because it is foggy or snowing. In the early days of the national park, they had a person who camped and watched the mountain to see when it would become clear. That person would ring a bell to let everybody know that they could see the mountain.

Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church Car Show
From spring to winter, we try to squeeze in lots of car shows to display our 1955 Chevrolet Two-Ten Sedan. It’s fun to meet and chat with other automotive enthusiasts and see their vehicles. This photo was taken at the Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church Car Show, which they hold every July 3, followed by their fireworks show. There are typically around 200 cars on display.
