Webster Groves Community Days is a tradition for families and a can’t-miss Fourth of July celebration.
The festival will kick off on Wednesday, July 1, with the carnival hosted by the Webster Groves Lions Club. The midway is set up on the grounds of Eden Seminary at the corner of Lockwood and Bompart Avenue. Enjoy rides, carnival food, and live music daily through Saturday, July 4.
City-sponsored events begin Thursday, July 2, with the Children’s Pet Pageant at the Benny Gordon Recreation Center. Bring the dog, cat, or any personal pet to this pageant competition, open to children ages 15 and under. Ribbons and prizes will be presented for categories such as Best Trick, Pet/Owner Look-Alike, and Best Float.
The 2026 Community Days Parade is Saturday, July 4, presented by Telle Tire & Auto Centers. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. near Lockwood and Mason Avenue. Floats travel a two-mile route through Webster Groves with thousands of spectators lining the streets, ending at Elm and Glendale. The deadline to submit a parade application is June 15. Awards will be presented in various categories from Best Overall to Outstanding Children’s Entry.
Community Days will conclude with a fireworks display. The fireworks are launched from Memorial Park at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, July 4. Please wait until the safety zone is established to set up your viewing area. The Water Park will be closed for event setup on this date.
