Welcome back, Saints
There’s something special about fall when Maryville University welcomes alumni, friends and families back to campus for a celebration that honors shared history and looks forward to the future. Homecoming 2026 is an invitation to reconnect, relive cherished memories and make new ones with the Maryville community. Join us September 24–27, 2026, for a weekend filled with tradition, laughter and Saints pride.
This year’s homecoming promises unforgettable moments and opportunities to reconnect with classmates, faculty and the place that shaped so many stories.
Kickoff
The weekend opens the way all great weekends should: with lots of family fun and a little friendly competition. The local community is invited to the family-friendly Saints Skate on Wednesday at the Maryville Hockey Center. On Thursday, the Lip Sync Battle takes over the Simon Athletic Center. The Lip Sync Battle tradition invites students, alumni and campus legends to step into the spotlight and battle it out for bragging rights. Expect big performances, bigger reactions and a crowd that never sits still.

Friday brings the fairways, the fanfare and the first faceoff
Early risers can head to the Landings at Spirit Golf Club for Maryville Baseball’s Alumni & Friends Golf Outing, a laid-back morning on the green that supports the baseball program and brings together golfers of every skill level for a shotgun start and a shared love of the game.
Back on campus, the themed campus tours give alumni and guests two ways to rediscover Maryville heritage and tradition, tracing the university’s roots or exploring just how much campus has evolved. Student tour guides will lead these campus tours, and the stories will be just as good as the scenery.
As evening rolls in, the celebrations multiply. Milestone reunion classes and Sacred Heart alumni gather for an intimate reunion dinner, while down the street the energy shifts into full gear at the Maryville men’s hockey D1 groundbreaking and pep rally, warming up the crowd before puck drop. Comedy fans are in for a treat, with Saints at The Factory bringing Tom Papa and his Grateful Bread Tour to The District for a night of laughs. When the sun goes down, it’s time to dress in black for the Maryville hockey blackout game, a homecoming tradition where the stands turn into a sea of Saints pride.
Saturday is the heart of homecoming
Visitors are invited to a Maryville soccer tailgate at Lonnie Folks Field, where the grills are hot, the company is better and both the women’s and men’s teams take on Missouri S&T back-to-back.
For alumni looking to keep growing professionally long after graduation, the continuing education experiences offer four distinct ways to spend part of the day learning from experts and fellow Saints. Professional development opportunities range from sport business management to sessions built for clinical educators supervising the next generation of students.
As afternoon turns to evening, campus becomes a patchwork of reunions. The Actuarial Science Alumni Reception, the DeBaun Black Alumni Network Reception, the Design & Visual Arts Alumni Reception and the Sacred Heart Alumni Reception each open their doors for alumni to reconnect with old friends, faculty and the programs that shaped them. Then comes one of the weekend’s most touching moments: the toast to the Class of 2026, where Maryville’s newest graduates raise a glass at the unveiling of the 2026 section of the Graduate Walkway. From there, everyone heads to the night’s and weekend’s main event, The Reunion Party: Taste of Maryville, which will transform the dining hall and quad into one celebration for reunion classes to reunite, new friendships to form and the night to stretch on.
Sunday brings it home
Homecoming winds down with community and reflection, starting with a special mass in Huttig Chapel. Then, the Maryville community will roll up their sleeves and give back in a campus donation drive that channels the spirit of Maryville into community impact.
