A season of live performances will connect St. Louis music, nightlife and cannabis culture at Hi-Pointe Cannabis Dispensary, culminating in a live DJ battle in December
ST. LOUIS, MO — Hi-Pointe Cannabis, an independent St. Louis cannabis dispensary, is launching Hi-Pointe Playlist Live, a new entertainment platform designed to spotlight local DJs through weekly performances, filmed content, cannabis brand collaborations and a season-ending live competition.
Beginning October 2, Playlist Live will feature live DJ performances every Friday inside Hi-Pointe Cannabis Dispensary. Each participating DJ will become part of an ongoing content series introducing the artist, their sound and personality to a wider St. Louis audience.
Located on the edge of Forest Park at the western entrance to St. Louis City, Hi-Pointe is centrally located near Dogtown, Clayton, Richmond Heights and Maplewood, with convenient access from Highway 40/I-64. The recreational dispensary is also minutes from the Saint Louis Zoo and Saint Louis Art Museum, making it easily accessible to both local residents and visitors to St. Louis.
Before the weekly series begins, the Playlist Link Up will take place September 17 at Tropical Liqueurs, connecting the St. Louis DJ and arts community. Eight DJs will ultimately move forward.
Throughout the season, Playlist Live will combine St. Louis music and cannabis culture while creating opportunities for local DJs to build visibility, relationships and original media around their work.
The season culminates December 5 at Tropical Liqueurs with the Hi-Pointe Playlist DJ Battle, where the selected DJs will compete live in a bracket-style event for the Playlist championship.
The long-term goal is to grow Playlist beyond a single competition into a recognizable St. Louis music platform connecting DJs with venues, record stores, media partners and new audiences.
