Young athletes will have the chance to bike, run and swim their way to fun and fitness at the upcoming Tiny Tot Triathlon on Saturday, May 30, with two race time options available: 9–10:15 a.m. or 9:30–10:45 a.m.
Designed for children ages 3 to 9, this family-friendly event emphasizes participation, movement and confidence-building rather than competition. The triathlon is not a timed event, allowing kids to enjoy the experience at their own pace.
Participants will complete a combination of biking, running and swimming, with the option to choose from beginner, intermediate or advanced courses. Distances vary by level, with beginner participants covering approximately 0.3 miles, intermediate 0.5 miles and advanced 0.75 miles. Courses also differ in incline and difficulty, giving families flexibility to select the best fit for their child.
Because of the young age group, parent or guardian assistance is required throughout the event to help guide participants along the course.
After completing the biking and running portions, participants can cool off with one hour of access to baby and activity pools, adding extra fun to the experience.
All participants will receive a medal at the finish line in recognition of their accomplishment.
