The City of Manchester is partnering with the American Red Cross for its next community blood drive on Friday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Manchester Justice Center, 200 Highlands Blvd.
Community members are encouraged to donate and help ensure a stable blood supply for patients in need. Donors may give either whole blood or Power Red, a specialized donation that collects red blood cells while returning other blood components to the donor. Power Red donations are especially helpful for trauma patients and others requiring transfusions.
Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled at RedCrossBlood.org, but walk-ins are welcome.
