The City of Manchester will host its next community blood drive on Monday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Manchester City Hall, 14317 Manchester Rd.
The drive is held in partnership with the American Red Cross and offers residents an opportunity to help meet ongoing blood supply needs.
Participants may donate whole blood or choose a Power Red donation. This specialized donation collects a concentrated amount of red blood cells—often the most urgently needed component for patients—while safely returning plasma and platelets to the donor. Power Red donations can make an even greater impact in a single visit, particularly for trauma patients, newborns, and individuals undergoing surgery.
Appointments are encouraged and can be scheduled at redcrossblood.org, though walk-ins are welcome throughout the event.
